The Nels Cline Singers on NPR…Yawn

I quite dig Wilco’s Nels Cline but this sounds quite a bit like some very good musicians tuning up for 20 minutes. If I was sitting in that office I’d be struggling not to slide back to my desk and check my email. Agree? Disagree?

John Mayer Rig Tour

Video tour of John Mayer’s touring rig with his legendary guitar tech, Rene Martinez. Forty guitars, Dumble, Two Rock and Fender amps, Bradshaw switching system…an incredible collection of stuff to have on the road.

Anyways, Jeff Beck does it with a Strat, Pro Junior and a Klon. Just saying.
